Ghost River Aqua Mane American IPA



Light yellow color with white cap and good retention.

Aroma of sharp hops mainly with some supporting grain.

Big bold flavors of malt and hops, much bigger than the color and scent imply. Malt is full bodied without being overly sweet and hops are simply there without pretense or excuse. Taste really good as well.

What else can I say, this is a big bold bruiser of a beer and I like it a lot.

Poured at 54°. Conditioned on coffee, coconut and cocoa nibs. A bit sweet for me…full review over on the New Beer Weekend thread.

G'day all!

I am sipping on this canned February 12th offering from Fiddlehead. Delicious but I have to ask myself why, to my palate, do most of the Double/Imperial IPAs I have had remind me more of the NEIPA style than the West Coast IPA style? Probably my imagination, eh?

I find it much better than the reviews suggest. Maybe because this is a "brewed in Bremen" and not a North American licensed version.

So, I'm back!! The surgery went well, the margins were clean and I might not need chemo or radiation! Will find out when I see the oncologist in a couple of weeks. No diet restrictions!
