What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4229

Good morning Vann @Ocalafox ! Just beat me to the thread. Been sleeping a few hours than going back to bed late morning into mid afternoon the past week or so. Hope the tacos plus the beer knock me out until late morning and I feel good enough to check out Salt Shed that I'm at now 15 days behind my plan (wanted to hit their May 3 opening).

New Beer Sunday #1004 review link. Bottom line this is a good Czech Pale Lager, a little sweeter than I like but within the style guidelines. This won out Silver so far this weekend slightly behind their Altbier I enjoyed Friday (though I prefer today's style better, the Altbier was a slightly better offering overall, IMO).

RIP Dabney Coleman who passed away earlier this week. He starred in one of the best shows of the 1980s, should have been given a few more seasons but too ahead of its time.

 

Hope your guy or team wins. Looking forward to seeing you in July as well! Will be great seeing the crew once again and new participants.

While Buffalo Bill was great during its short run, this show was hands down the GOAT of 1980s television, and among the best all time.

Overall a light refreshing Kolsch. Would be excellent on a hot day, which a lot of us are about to have.

Poured at 56°. No canning date. Roast coffee/roast malt nose and taste. Lighter than my usual breakfast beers, but good nonetheless. Working on notes for NBW.

Early b-day party for Biggie Smalls today at the pub. Special beers, smash burger food truck, and a DJ. The one time each year I wear my crown. Cheers and have a great day y’all!
