I watched the Chiefs vs Ravens, they both liked good and solid, Packers are going to have a tough time beating either of those teams.

 

Home from a lovely tapas dinner (had an Estrella), and relaxing with a Svijanský Baron 15º, a strong-ish Czech pilsner. Not too bad, if a dash boozy.

Just left the Pepper Festival in Kutztown, stopped by the Golden Avalanche/Kutztown Tavern for the obligatory sampler.
Blonde lager, Youngallen's Lager, Spring Bock, Dunkle Weizen, Donner Weiss, Old Brick Alt.
Beers are above average, but not stellar.

 

Happy Friday BAs! I'm welcoming the end of the work week with a local cream ale, Goodbye Gravity from Imperial City Brew House. It's a pretty standard cream ale with just a hint of vanilla. Not bad - cheers!

 

I would be remiss... following the rambling diatribe this morning on the preservation of NEIPA quality over time... were I to not crack a very-aged fridge sample to gather more data supporting the theory.

This one was canned 2023-07-03, and I never found it appealing enough to try.

14 months old NEIPA... Let's go!

As much as I love both beer and Piña Colada, I've never once wanted pineapple in my damned beer. As with some of the other fruit-puree-infused offerings from TH however, they somehow prove to me it's possible to pull it off in an enjoyable fashion.

The one's I've liked most have come from the Julius lineage.
