Pours a very hazy gold one finger of eggshell colored head. Average head retention & lacing

S: Bready notes, pears, a little grassy

T: Golden Delicious Apples, a little pineapple, some tartness/sourness up front. Flavor going more towards pear, along with grassy notes & tartness once this beer is warmed up, a little dryness from the oak aging as well. Tart apples and pears in the finish, some lemon & pineapple notes as well, plus some grassyness & white grape

MF: Medium body, lightly carbonated, a little grainyness on the tongue

Fairly easy to drink, not really in my wheelhouse, but feel like this beer would be at home at a Belgian Farmhouse

500mL can (packaged 4/6/2023) into a tulip. Pours a clear pale yellow with a 1-finger white head.

Aroma is kind of a grainy vinous funk—definitely some sour lemon/green apple notes along with a bready malt character. Intriguing.

Taste is somehow less powerful than the aroma. It has the same crackery pale malt quality and a gently tart quality, but the latter is diminished—which actually works fine because what we have here is a clean, light beer with just a hint of wild/spontaneous fermentation, which makes this super approachable to someone who might just be dipping their toes into more adventurous beers.

Mouthfeel is light and crisp, refreshing and drinkable.

Overall an enjoyable, sessionable table beer that I can’t imagine growing tired of. Should be available in 12oz 6-packs.

Thanks to snaotheus for putting this in my hands, literally.
Slightly cloudy straw to gold. Fluffy whitehead rises up 2 1/2 inches and then settles down to a sin clumpy film. Good head retention, slight, clumpy, lacing.
Nose has an initial pop of light, sulfur, wet hay, some tart apple peels, citrus zest, followed by mild yeasty note.
Flavor begins with a gentle tartness that brings fruit skin, like apple and peach, with a hint of dry white wine barrel. Again, there’s a mild barnyard, funk, and most understated cracker malt background.
Mouthfeel drops off a bit on the carbonation.
Overall a very approachable table beer.

16oz can. Bottom stamp reads 'PING PONG TABLE BEER 07/13/23'.
Cloudy, straw colored body. One finger of white head, which recedes back to islands and a ring. Leaves behind extensive webs and rings of lacing.
Aroma of yeast esters - slightly fruity but sweet.
Taste is tangy more than tart or sour. Semi sweet fruit that is remindful of apple and pear, with a hint of apricot. Yeast has worked its magic on the sugar. Mellow fade out in the aftertaste.
Full mouth feel. Dry and clean finish. Very good carbonation.
Lots of flavor for a low ABV% brew.

Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. Canned 4/6/23, the label says this is a "table beer".

Appearance: shimmery silver-golden hue with a light haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam. Plenty of effervescence makes this beer quite pretty indeed.

Smell: a little bit tart and funky, but with just enough offsetting sweetness to be quite balanced. Not super complex, but good.

Taste: a nice little hint of malt up front, followed quickly by a light tartness. There's a hint of funk in the finish. Although it's tempting to think of this beer as being a bit watery, I think it delivers quite a flavor punch for a beer of its relatively low strength.

Mouthfeel: body is perhaps a bit light with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: at 4.2% and just slightly sweet, this beer is entirely crushable. Crisp and refreshing, this definitely lives up to the table beer name.
