Officially signed off for the day - having another one of these refreshing pilsners ..

 

It’s been a quiet day: Some paperwork and a 4.2 mile walk. Having burned some calories I’m replacing them at Autodidact. Currently drinking Famine, a DIPA collaboration with Messorem Bracitorium (Montreal), Twin Elephant, and Esker Hart. Very dry, earthy, grassy, and bitter. Cheers!

This is a 2025 Consumer Beverage liquor store/bottle shop variant. Russell’s Reserve barrel. This is a more limited variation maybe. This was a good one but not my favorite for the year.

Just so everyone knows they take the same base stout and barrel age it in different barrels for about 1 year. They usually have about 8 to 9 different barrel variants a year. There absolutely is a difference in the taste from one barrel to the next.

 

At the SeaTac airport, ready to head home - but time for a beer (or two). This is uber fresh Bodhizafa. I’m so happy I could cry.
