It's not that the hill is too steep, probably 5-6% grade, it is just that it is constant, lots of crack in the sidewalk and there are lots of lights, bad drivers, and...it's Capitol Hill....

    Good enough?

It isn't. At least it doesn't say it is, which it would if it was.

"Honored, we created this Imperial Oatmeal Stout with depth and secrets not to be revealed until several years have passed. Pale barley, smoked barley, brewer's licorice, cinnamon bark, oh my my..."

    $20/bottle.

Also, they misspelled Capitol Hill (Capital) and judgment (judgement)... :stuck_out_tongue:

As posted below the current batch is not barrel aged but its a good imperial oatmeal stout aged on cinnomon bark, $20 a bottle 4 limit

They said the barrel aged version will be out next year

Wow, more expensive than Bbomb and KDS. The cinnamon bark market must be in the shitter right now.

I opted for a Supplication as my alternate beer.

They keep an up to date tap list on their front page.

$20 for a non barrel-aged stout? I know its a Fremont beer, but its PineBox setting the price. No thanks. What a rip off considering Fremont sold barrel-aged bottles for $15.

It would have been $25 if it was a Brouwer's anniversary beer.

How much was Bottleworks XIII by Stone? The primary owner/partner of PineBox, Ian Roberts used to manage at Brouwers before opening Pine Box last year.

I was skeptical too until I tried it. After I tried was when I decided to buy a few. Tasted like regular Abraxas or Mexican Cake without the chili heat. A cinnamon bomb. Delicious.

I thought it was a great beer, lots of cinnamon and gingerbread cookie flavor with a bit of coffee and booze. However, I had no interest in buying it at $20 a bottle.
