    I need to pull out Saint Arnold Hoarder cat more than once every 2 years it seems, lol. That stuff is old.

    The key word is extra. As in, I stick them in trade boxes for free. :slight_smile:

    I still have (2) 2011 and (2) 2012, looking forward to verticals. And maybe a comparison with that interloper Warlock.

    I have never opened a bottle of Pumpkinator that I purchased. I buy 1 every year and then don't drink it because somebody shares one and it's mediocre and makes me remember how much better DR9 was.

    Maybe I'll have a vertical party one day. I almost said vertical drainpour, but figured it was too harsh... lolz

    I'm hoping aging will cut back on the in your face nutmeg bomb that this beer was fresh.

    It's not really a drainpour, just not fantastic. Too harsh when fresh.

    I bet the rum barrels will do wonders though!

    I realize I have a lot of Pumpkin beers to drink... lol

    I just am disappointed with most pumpkin beers after Pumking and Good Gourd.

    Can't wait for Good Gourd Almighty!!! :grimacing:

    I think age will mellow it out quite a bit. DR9 was a huge spice bomb when it was fresh, but it aged gloriously.

    DR9 ages so well and was better than any other Pumpkinator vintage I've had, fresh or aged.

    I prefer Pumpkinator fresh because the spices fall off a bit too much in a year.

    glad to hear they increased the production. this is one of my favorite beers and i always love sharing it with friends who have never had it. everyone enjoys it.
