    Because Satan is awesome. 666.

Inception Series beers are brewery only and all have cost $12

Why can't breweries name their beers after Jesus? The Lost Abbey has a few, but they also have some satan-themed beers; which is undoubtedly why they are lost. I hope they find their way and name all of their beers after Jesus.

Because they can't come up with an original thought when it comes to design. Or perhaps they enjoy alienating a big chunk of their user base. I'm sure its a wonderful beer, just like the others, but this name/label is so blatant that I can't buy it in good conscience.

What's wrong with Satan? There has to be a Yin to those Trappist Monks' Yang, IMO. No one complains about them, do they?

There's a good chance you'll see bottles of this on the shelf at the Hill Farmstead tasting room

You're right, I bet that's a variation of what Robert Johnson was thinking when he wrote "Hellhound On My Trail."

I get that, but it's just a name/label. The good conscience stuff seems a bit much. Also, in the christian tradition I was raised in nobody drank alcohol period because it was "evil". Which to me seems a bigger issue than what is on the label. Cheers :-)

Alcohol is not inherently evil. There is alchohol in wine after all. The problem arises though when you become impaired to the point where you are making bad decisions.. you basically let your gaurd down and allow your sinning nature to take over. Idol worship however, is a sin. So yeah, I could drink this beer on tap and feel ok about it. But I don't want the bottle sitting in my house. Sounds strange to some, I get it. I just wish advertisers wouldn't sink to being offensive to get attention. Anyway, enjoy your beer. I'm sure its tasty, like I said.

I really doubt whoever created this name and label were deliberately doing so to be offensive.
