    Golden Road in LA takes up 3 warehouses that were used for trains back in the day. One is the pub, one is the brewery, and the other is the barrel/aging room.

    Run of the Milll Brewery in Saco, Maine is in a former mill (Get it?) that sits on an island - right outisde of Portland, ME.

    "Like" because I agree with the comment, though the picture is nice. Their stuff is disappointing.

    Just google mcmenamins in portland. All they do is convert old historic buildings into brewpubs, there are more than 60, one of them is an entire school converted into a brewpub/hotel its really cool.

    St. Joseph's Brewery and Public House opens in the historic St. Joseph's Parish in Indianapolis, Indiana - The next time you go out for a local craft beer you can tell your friends you're going to "church." Indy's newest brewery and gastropub, St. Joseph Brewery and Public House, has been constructed inside the former St. Joseph church in the Lockerbie neighborhood.[​IMG]

    Fallen Brewery in Perthshire, Scotland is in an old train station. All of their core beers reflect the railway theme, too.

    A bit closer to home the Lerwick Brewery in Shetland used to be a gas depot, selling bottled gas for cooking, heating, etc.

    Valhalla Brewery, on Unst, Shetland recently moved into the former RAF base on the island. Previously it was in a large shed in the owners garden.

    Valcour Brewing Company is opening up on what used to be the Plattsburgh Air Force Base. The building itself is referred to as "The Old Stone Barracks".
    The original barracks were built in the mid-1800's and housed military soldiers. For a time the lower levels were used as both a hospital and mess hall. Part of the compound was torn down after a fire, but the remaining property was used until the base shut down in the early 90's.
    Rumored to be haunted, but who knows.

    It's not interesting as in awesome or beautiful, but Carton is literally across the street from the town elementary school, which I find entertaining.

    A couple of cool ones I have been to are Bluejacket in DC which was an old boiler factory I believe. It is really something:

    I know this isn't the intention of this post, but Pelican Brewing in Oregon is situated (literally) RIGHT on the beach. I don't know of many breweries like that.

    Bale Breaker Brewing is located right in the middle of the Yakima Valley hop-growing region (with fresh hop fields literally surrounding the brewery)
