C'mon @The_Craft_Deviant_Rob. Some targets have already received their shipments for the second round. You spent much of June posting on this site and you work at a liquor store. Some people in the BIF have kids and/or other significant and time-consuming responsibilities and they managed to get their beer out to their target on time. Get with the program.

 

Jersey gets enough crap without welchers being added to the list.

by any chance was the new system used so he could be added to the bad trader list?

 

He set up the BIF and now is the only one not to send a box? Man, I've never seen that before. Awful

This is why I'd love to see a BIF feedback system where (after boxes have mostly gone out, don't want to ruin targets/senders) each person can be assigned to their sender and feedback can be left accordingly.

For one thing, it provides accountability, and for another it'd help my rating out a bit, I did a bunch of trades early on but at this point I don't see myself doing much besides BIFs and it'd be nice for my participation to be noted similar to if they were 1:1 trades.

Presumably this system would be utilizted by the BIF OP, I know I wouldn't mind spending a few minutes toward the close of the shipping window to do this... Admittedly, this wouldn't help in this particular case, but I'd assume a Mod could help out in extenuating circumstances such as this.

 

I hate to drop word on the great people in that BIF but this dude is not showing up.

You have any inside information on it or just an educated guess? I have lost faith he is going to show up too pretty disappointing to say the least but I think @Tee2Grn will be well compensated by many of the BIFers.

 

He has been absent for 2+ weeks? My bet is he has stopped checking in here because of his absence. I have absolutely zero proof or rationale. He is a deadbeat in the worst way. Start a BIF and not be the one to send out. I hope he never posts on BA again in his life.

 

Although I wish it never had to be done, lots of good people cleaning up the mess of one deadbeat is BA at its finest. Unfortunately this isn't the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last time something like this has happened.

 

Just keep a vigil. At some point, perhaps six months from now he will want to emerge (I bet he is reading this as a 'guest'. Don't let him slip back into normality.

I sent out a consolation box in the Hastur's straight up BIF. Although it wouldn't make much sense for me to send you a consolation box, I'm sure you will be well taken care of - and I am in a position to BIF to someone who went above and beyond in helping flush out your sender.

Yep consolation shopping done this weekend, but I'm still hoping something magical happens in the next couple of days (like maybe the OP decides to at least contribute the original 144 oz. even if someone else has to ship for him, and even though the rest of us shipped an average of just about double that).
