What beer are you drinking now? #644

It's kind of funny (besides the Anchor), I've been trying to get a taste for Black IPAs - I have Sierra Nevada's Blindfold, Stone's Sublimely Self-Righteous and 21st Amendment's Back in Black in the fridge. Right now, 21st takes it (although the Sierra Nevada try at this is not too bad).

 

Damn, the one day I peruse BA for grilling inspiration, and..... nothin'.

 

This is my cheap camping beer. Normally, every year during this weekend, my son, wife, and I are in Colorado camping in our own personal paradise. However, my wife is pregnant with twins and is due in Sept. so I decided to buy my $18 30 pack of Extra Gold and relive great memories this weekend. On about 3 more years we'll be back in our paradise again.

 

This ones got some heat on it!

Found this lurking in the depths of the beer fridge.

Brought it back with some other singles from my trip to Colorado/Wyoming last September. Had it at the brewery, but couldn't remember anything about it. Then again, there are a lot of things I don't remember about the brewery hopping in Ft. Collins. Wasn't expecting much, but other than the hops being pretty weak/faded, it still taste good. Some good tropical citrus flavors. I see @FanofHefe found one a little fresher than mine (best by Dec 13).

 

I'm sure you've reached poobah level over on Cheese Advocate. Seriously though, the only thing that belong together more than pb&j, sonny & Cher, and peaches & herb are cheese and beer. As always, thank you for the beautiful beer and cheese pics. Cheers Mr. Wulfken.
