It's a 14% Mawlt Likkah! I like this though. Yet I really enjoy Beetus beers.
Just a little something while my pops cooks up 6 lbs. of beef on the grill. Something about the beach that makes life that much better. Cheers BAs far and wide.
Welcome! And a hell of a first post.
Indy stopped being so shy. Today is the first day with no pain meds at all. He seems to be doing really well without them.
New Holland Oak Aged Hatter
These campside's are good
knocked down one of these with my son, nephew & two brother-in-laws (note: the end of the mini-keg was full of sediment and we had to drain pour the last 18-20ozs )
after that we killed a 12 pack of centennial ipa.
now we're just drinking some Miller Lite, we're all fairly buzzed so why waste anymore good beer?
BMC does have it's own time and place (for me at least), cheers!
Sofie on draft. With my cheese plate. Feelin good , Rusty.
Sun King Grapefruit June IPA
Following up Bomb! with a BCBS. Hopefully it will help fend off the Mosquitos otherwise known as the Maine state bird.
Now were are on Lagunitas- Little Sumpin' and watching the tribe blow it once again I think I should have gotten more than one six pack
Wrapping up tonight with another nice stout. Wish I had some more of these...
Drinking some great beers today but that's one classic tune there! Cheers.
Got some Warlock yesterday. Tempted to pick up some 'King too.
Coincidentally, that was my nickname in college.
Everyone in this 12 is brewed excellent, great idea SN!
I still think the '13 isn't as good as previous releases but as it ages it's getting better
How about one more before I call it a night?
Great beer. Better dog. My beast is d-o-n-e after being in the yard all day. Glad to see a big smile on Indy's face.
4 years going and I have never reviewed this. Damn good, spot on witbier all around (as expected). Taste of lemon, pear, orange peel, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Well balanced spice/yeast/pale malt flavors. Good robustness. Crisp and smooth mouthfeel with a bit of breadiness.
Very solid and standard tasting Vienna lager. Taste of caramel, toast, biscuit, brown bread, nuttiness, light roast, herbal, floral, light fruitiness and a bit of toasty/yeast earthiness. Very malt driven flavor with some light earthy hops in there. Very clean tasting. Pleasant and enjoyable.
Gone camping again. I like how they have been putting a wide variety of styles in this box to expose people to them. This was delicious and a damn good Belgian pale ale. Taste of big lemon zest, tangerine, pear, melon, orange peel, light banana, coriander, clove, pepper, bread, herbal, floral, grass, light bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Great amount of complexity going on, with well balanced fruity/spicy yeast, citrus hops, and coriander. Moderate yeast spice/light hop bitterness on the finish. Crisp and smooth mouthfeel with touch of stickiness from the hops.
Very nice IPA. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, pineapple, orange peel, floral, grass, light pine with a moderate amount of caramel/light toasted bread malt sweetness. Very smooth and a bit creamy/sticky in the mouthfeel. Good malt/bitterness balance. Very enjoyable, not sure on the age of this. More east coast IPA feeling IMO.
This is on the insane levels of incredible. Taste of big milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, dark fudge, molasses, vanilla, toffee, toast, bourbon, oak, nuttiness, and roasty/oak earthiness. Pretty much perfect balance of the dark/roasted malt, coffee, and bourbon barrel complexity with an extremely creamy/slick/luscious mouthfeel. No booze anywhere. Super smooth sipping. Wow, just wow. This is simply mind blowing.
Sticking with the Victory Summer Sampler, cheers!
BCBS & fou foune on tap!!!
Winding down the evening, my buddy and I are sitting on the deck kicking with some Sinatra and:
On the right...a 2008 Shoreline Sum Cens Barrel Aged Double IPA that mellowed into a great 'barley. On the left, the absolute perfect pairing - a BeerCamp Double Latte with a Java Cigar. The absolute PERFECT ending to a GREAT day - great beer and great friends. Stay thirsty my friends!
Good evening BAs! Enjoying a Cimmerian Sabertooth Berzerker which was bottled yesterday. Cheers all!
Bottled 7/8/14, this could be dangerous...
The Baby Maker DIPA @ Triple C Brewing, Charlotte NC.
I waited long enough to try this one. My son just turned 7 and my daughter is 9...seems like a good time to crack one open before I trade them all away...
ODELL - Myrcenary is better than PLINY the Elder. CHEERS!!!
Avery Ellie's Brown Ale
Trying this out. The wife went out with some friends so I had some tequila and sprite with em. Now it's just me and the pups. Time to dive into some of these beers I acquired this week. This is a great session ale.
Deschutes Fresh Squeezed. Good stuff!
You the man Indy!
Our girl Daisy is recovering from dental surgery after a mishap last weekend and keeps me company on the porch while I enjoy the beer of the night.
