Am I screwed?

    Well, some people got refilled bottles of TG. I just haven't got my bottle of Assassin at all.

    Let me announce up front I am an idiot. I had 6 trades going at once right around the holiday and made the mistake of not paying attention to who I was trading with. It was their first, at least documented trade, and now I feel like an idiot for not having him ship first. I traded 6 De Garde's + a nice extra meanwhile I'm hearing crickets for the Assassin I was supposed to have right now.

    We agreed on the trade November 25th. I shipped it out November 26th. I sent him a Fed Ex confirmation on the 28th after Thanksgiving. It got to him on 12/2. I haven't heard from him since we agreed on the trade and exchanged addresses. He last signed on Dec. 1st. I've since sent him 4 nice messages hoping it would alert his e-mail crossing my fingers that he just "forgot" to ship and just hasn't signed back on yet.

    My question is... when do I realize I got snubbed? Is there is still a chance I get my Assassin? I do not have his phone number. I just sent him a hand written letter hoping it pulls on his conscious.... Any other suggestions?

    I'd suggest telling everyone who it was, seeing if anyone on here knows them or can reach out in other ways, and hope that having their name out here in public will get their attention and make them ship what they owe.

    Yeah, just tag their BA name here and let the thread take its natural course. Being their first trade on BA (i.e., no established history) you really should have had them ship first but that's the past at this point.

    I do not have his number. It wasn't either of those traders. If I don't hear from him by tomorrow I will give out his name and account ID.

    Even if it wasn't one of the known usernames, check with some people on the back end to see the address you shipped to was one of the addresses this guy used. Probably not because they were able to get his usernames by his IP but ya never know

    First and formost I would call him out on here, post up his name so other traders can take caution. I hate seeing these threads, and they are becoming a common occurrence lately.

    I do hope he pulls thru and you get your bottles.

    Holding on to the names of traders like this helps the trader set up more trades if they are in fact trying to screw people.

    Like many have already mentioned in this thread, tagging the person in question usually (don't think it hasn't worked yet) draws them out into the light.

    I hate to say this but I almost hope it was the same dbag. I'd hate to see ANOTHER bad trader out there f'in people over. If that is the case I also wish I had another assassin :slight_frown:

    Just out the guy. Who knows, maybe he has had a legit reason for not being on BA (car accident, illness, etc) and somebody who knows him will see this and let him know people are looking for him. There's my bad trader glimmer of hope moment of the week
