    We're getting our first accumulating snow of the season and my plans for the day had to change... so I changed my beer plans as well. Looks like a nice day for some porters.

    I tried, I really, really tried...

    I tried earlier on DFH's Burton Baton, I still poured it. I had it fresh and it was disappointing, aged one a year....still disappointing. All those who love that beer, I'm not knocking you for liking it. The only reason why I bring this up is because this is my Third FD Kujo this week and I'm still finding it enjoyable. I guess it's Yin and Yang in this beer spectrum. Find one's you like and pass on the one's you don't like.

    SN's Porter is probably my most Consumed beer (next to Celebration). That brew is a great example of the style!

    Might be you like it so much because it is aged in Whiskey Barrels not Bourbon, I'm a little bit of the opposite I thought it was a tad sharp. They make great stouts I do not know whether you can still find it but the one aged in Jameison Whiskey Barrels was devine!!!

    I'm not really sure what I could compare it to. Nice carb and kinda dry for a bigger beer. BIG time fruity hop characteristics with some sweetness. Its worth the trip!

    From last night: My new Stone Hydro-Flask Growler from Christmas! In my Stone IPA glass, on my Stone coaster :stuck_out_tongue:

    Beer is some tasty stuff, Green Flash Soul Style IPA. This is a great brew!

    Be careful - I love that IPA glass but they're ridiculously fragile. My first one broke and my second one mysteriously developed a big crack (all within the first 3 months after purchase), though I still use it.

    Tried it a few times, not for me. Not knocking people for enjoying it. Yet as far as I'm concerned, there will always be my share of this available in my regional area.
