In hopes that more Bourbon County will soon be there ...
Not the best Doppelbock I've had, but definitely not bad either. I'm a sucker for things I haven't seen before.
It's also pretty good for keeping me warm on my last day of mini-vacation. It's finally above zero again!
Really enjoying this from the can lately.
This recent batch of Weyerbacher Insanity is tasting fantastic!
shes not too big on snow, it gets stuck in her paws and she acts a fool.
Watching it on the website - today I got to see "Robot Monster" with that god-awful dream ending.
Sounds good I might have to give it a go Brewery is 2 hours from me.
Sorry - not very knowledgeable about spirits. Both the bottle and website just say "whiskey" which, to me, seems rather vague. But I would suspect that the lack of specificity would imply old Four Roses barrels (or something of that caliber) rather than Wild Turkey or Jameson.
not quite the "finest kind" since this one seems like it was on the shelf for a while
Just finished a nice XC ski and having a Wasatch First One Down Winter Warmer. Cheers!
Just reviewed OMB's Copper (4.26), a fine Altbier. Following that with Foothill's Jade, my highest rated IPA at 4.6. Jade is addictive...just like Amy (who just happens to favor the sultry label) and Lithium...
Recently saw several BA's drinking this one, so when I saw it at the local TW I thought I'd give it a go. The aroma reminds me of smoked meat to the point I almost don't want to drink it. The taste is not as strong and I might finish it.
I suspect you are gonna have quite a few cats on here going "Who the hell is Perry Mason"...I kinda had a thing for Della Street
Hell, my hounds look like that 18 hours a day...
I had the 2014 vintage, and I was quite impressed.
Samuel Smith Winter Welcome 14-15. Never the greatest, but always an early January tradition for me...
If you're on Maui send me a BM and maybe we could meet up for some beers! Cheers and hope you're enjoying the 808
9% alcohol. Introduced in 2014 for limited release. Certified Kosher.
Wow Beerformuscle, that beer's name sure brings back memories. I've gotta hunt it down and try it. We used to play it in the first band I was in (drummer). We opened our first gig with the Ventures Hawaii Five O and the second set with Pipeline (yeah, I'm an old rocker - 61).
I still have the album with Big Wave Rider Sammy Lee on the cover.
Just a few days left until the spring semester starts. Enjoying the calm before the storm with Jackie O's Dark Apparition (Russian Imperial Stout).
Flight and a slice for $7 at Jet's Pizza. Dragons Milk, Hooligan, Figjam, and Moose Drool. The straggler ia Beanflicker. As yoy can see, Dragons milk went quick.
First beer of the day on my day off...
Had this in my hand 30 minutes ago and passed it up for some Tango.
Having a Backwoods Bastard because I feel like a Bastard.
Considering the number of this thread, it's time to listen to some 808 State.
Weyerbacher makes some pretty tasty brews!
Modern Times Black House stout.
(Still too dumb to figure out the picture thing)
I miss the Bruery brews.
I really enjoy this Coffee Imperial Porter. The Devil doesn't need to make me do it at all, good stuff! Great coffee on the nose.
Tyranena makes some pretty awesome brews!
Thanks @Shogun250! Forget west coast IPAs, New England is the master of the hop!
Didn't care for the first beer I had today. Switching to a stand-by that I know is enjoyable.
The (partially) barrel aged version of that is very good.
Indeed and they are constantly improving techniques leading to better beer.
Just getting home from a busy day at work currently drinking an ipa from sanitas brewing in Boulder Colorado
This beer...is all kinds of redonkulous. A+++. Also, cheers to #808...Hawaii represent!
Dogfish Head 90 minute IIPA!
Just picked up a 4-pack of Founders Imperial Stout, my favorite alcoholic banana smoothy.
I simply do not drink this beer enough. It's like their porter on steroids. Delicious, delicious steroids.
Tacos for dinner (and, not pictured, my planned lunch for tomorrow; family packs, it turns out, provide a ton of food under the circumstances).
Delicious (but the beer is better). Cheers!
