Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale is what I'd recommend, if you have not had it. A black IPA right on the edge of porter and stout.

I thought it was solid. Definitely worth it if you can find a single. Honestly, if I would've drank it without knowing what it was beforehand, I would have thought it was a black IPA. The bitterness is up there for a stout.

Victory Storm King for sure. I'm about to finish a bottle of it right now and contemplating having another.
Full Pint Night of the Living Stout - it's a Fall seasonal but you may still be able to find it somewhere.

Stone SSR does not remotely resemble a stout.

Blackout Stout is great and underrated but I wouldn't consider it hoppy.

Likely not available in Ohio but if you cross over into PA, North Country Buck Snort Stout, http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/9797/22949/ which can be found throughout Western PA, definitely fits the bill.

Fort George Java the Hop is phenomenal. Also I would try Armored Fist from Boneyard if you're ever out in Oregon/Washington. If the Ft. George sounds interesting to you pm me and we can work out some kind of trade. I know of a few 4 packs left around town. Cheers!

Pike XXXXX Stout is like Storm King's smaller, but more handsome, brother.

It's like a thick black IPA. It's definitely worth picking up if you like black IPA's.

If you are looking for hoppy and coffee you might want to look into the new style that has been attempted by some brewers, Coffee IPA and Coffee Pale Ale. Rather than a Porter or Stoutporter with a lot of hops and coffee flavor from the roasted malt, it is a coffee infused hoppy India/pale ale and the three I have tried all have been phenomenal. There was a thread a while back about it with recommendations of ones more easy to get than the draft only ones I occasionally enjoy here.

You're probably out of the Maine Beer Company's distribution footprint, but Weez would probably be up your alley. The flavor starts off like a regular IPA, but finishes like a roasty stout.

It's not easy to get at all, but Three Floyds Blot Out The Sun is my second favorite non barrel aged stout. It has the same malt base as Dark Lord, not as high ABV, but way hoppier and much more complex beer.
