My two cents: Don't be too hard on the boy... rather consider Bells for being jerks for creating this situation. Far worse than having an organized release.

 

Disagree. The board has a search function that works well enough to find the 2 posts on this topic that have been active in the last month.

 

Better for locals though, so I ain't hatin. And I say this as a non-local; only time I've ever gotten it was when a friend happened to be in KZoo on a release day.

Plus, it means if you do get there, it's pretty simple. Is it better to drive all the way to GR for 2 4pks of KBS (provided you bought a ticket in the first 30 seconds of the online sale?) Or to wait in line for hours at Kuhnhenn or Dark Horse?

 

Like I said, just my opinion. This is a beer that has still eluded me and I'd love to try it. Hoping to score a release ticket for KBS and then visit my family in MI. A bonus would be to find some BN

you clearly have never been to a complete cluster of a beer release or had to compete with truck chasers because they knew the exact date of distro. the way Bells goes about their business is just fine with me. if you have ever been to a complete cluster of a beer release then you would understand why Bells wouldnt want that on their property.

I was told that Saturn would be released before Black Note. If that is true, that'd mean Black Note wouldn't be released until sometime after April.

 

@Donco, when Black Note comes out this year, if it does at all (that's another thing, @WhoKnew23, they have no obligation to release it in 2015), I'll send you a bottle. BM me your deets and I'll get it together for you. I've never had trouble scoring a couple four packs in my hometown, and you seem like a good guy, although your opinion of the Black Note release as "bad" is a little troubling .
