Black Note?

    So if I'm remembering correctly, last year Black Note was released early-mid January. Any news on this year's release? I'll be passing through on the 5th for an interview, so if by some luck it's available then it would be awesome to bring some back home.

    You'll probably be able to get some Hopslam, but I would say about a 0% chance of finding Black Note.

    Black Note was released late March last year.

    There's a beer store in Wisconsin who you could probably follow on Twitter or Facebook to see when its coming out before it's supposed to come out... Oh wait, never mind, they're not getting any this year.

    Did that happen in WI too? I know the cat was let out of the bag early in the Twin Cities, but hadn't heard anything like that happening in WI.

    The best place to get Black Note early is Minnesota. Srs. If your interview is in MSP I feel good for your chances.

    Was it late March or early March? It was so close to the KBS release last year. The wallet took a beating at that time.

    I think Black Note has been released twice now, and it has occurred during a different month each time, so it's probably not realistic to predict its release. I think Bell's takes the point of view that they'll release it when it's ready, or not at all.

    Ha! I was soooo pissed! I saw those pics on here & went to the General Store at lunch & they were like "wtf are you talkuing about??". So I went back later because that was Oberon release day so I had one at Bells & stopped at General Store & again "WTF are you talking about?".
    The next morning I get on a plane at 7am to Missouri for a work trip & once I get to my hotel at 8pm, I look at BA to see cases of BN in the hauls thread :angry::slight_frown:

    Oh wow, seems like I was way off on the release day :stuck_out_tongue: My interview is in Detroit and I'm driving in from Chicago, so I'll be passing right by Kalamazoo. I'll still probably stop by as Bell's put out plenty of great stuff. Any chance any BB Plead the 5th would still be around at Dark Horse?

    If it's from Sunday the 23rd you weren't buying any black note since it hit Tuesday the 25th(same day as GR KBS day)

    I stand corrected. My receipt is actually from the 26th. But thanks for confirming that was late March.
