Was just wondering what availability is like in the rest of the NW. At least at this point, we've only gotten a limited supply of bottles here in Eugene, and both 16 tons and the Bier Stein are playing the sort of customer games I normally associate with PtY. Both places are getting a keg, and are charging $30 a ticket, which gets you a single bottle of PnB, and an 8 ounce pour of PnB on draft. Limit is one ticket per customer. I was told that at BS, the PnB event is already a sell out. There are still a limited number of tickets at 16 tons.

Other than 16 tons and BS, I think the main MofC down on Williams St. got a single case (sold out the day they got it in), but apparently that's it. At least so far.

This sort of behavior is VERY uncommon for Eugene. For example, BS got in 5 cases of ADWTD, and they had to lift their purchase limit restriction, that's how slow sales have been (at $34.50, it's pretty spendy by Eugene standards).

Anyone seeing anything similar up North? If memory serves, there were two PnB drops last year, with the second one far larger than the first. So I'm still holding out hope of picking up a few bottles, without having to drive out to Hood River.

I was told today by the distributor that the 15 cases that came into PDX were not pre-allocated, so they sold out immediately and a few probably ended up in really random places. They're hoping for more, but didn't last year's second drop come months later?

This post is more for the sake of including other parts of the NW, per the OP, than for helping you acquire bottles (as you're more likely to just go to Hood River than leave the state)... but my recollection for Seattle over the last couple years is that this came and went very quickly and we probably didn't get very much at all to begin with. IIRC last year Whole Foods sold out within hours. I'd consider it one of the most elusive beers that gets any distribution here.

Last year I saw bottles of Peche at multiple places, including John's Marketplace, the New Seasons at Cedar Hills, and the Whole Foods at Tanasbourne. It didn't seem to be particularly scarce around here. (Then again, I live in the hinterlands of Beaverton.)

Imperial Bottleshop has it for $18.50 a bottle.
Belmont Station has 3 cases right now, 1 bottle limit at $20.

I was also told at Bailey's that only 10 cases made it to Portland. Don't they make 2,000-3,000 bottles of this stuff? I bought some at Zupan's last year...

This year or last? I have not seen it in WA yet, or at least anywhere in the Oly Tacoma area...

As Drew mentioned (and knows better than I) only ~15 cases hit PDX along with a handful of kegs. Would have to guess there will be plenty more to go around with the next shipment.

Anyone know what the story is, as far as visiting the brewery? I read that they were closed for the winter, and aren't opening the new taproom/tasting room till May. So are they completely closed the public now? Can you stop by to buy bottles at least?

Looked at the website, and there just isn't a whole lot of information there.

I recall seeing a post somewhere on here recently about a new downtown Hood River location? It said something about it being styled after a rustic farmhouse, but that's all I remember reading. Having a location in town makes sense though.

EDIT: Behold the power of search

The Facebook page mentions that they're open tomorrow from noon till 4:00. Could that be the downtown tasting room location?
