fellow beer advocates. Heading to Seattle for conference next week and looking for some great beer spots (breweries, bars, eateries.etc)

Any help would be much appreciated. Elysian already on the list.

    Thanks.

KC and Seattle are tied for number of major sports championships, 2 each. Royals and Chiefs, Chronics and Seacows.

Personally, I wouldn't waste my time at The Elysian. And no, that isn't a due to my Anheuser Busch objections. More accurately, there are a lot of great places that are so much better than Elysian, it would be a shame to miss out on any of them with time spent at The Elysian.

What part of the city are you staying in?

FYI - Elysian has been dropped from the must-hit or the highly recommended list. Hit it up if you want but it's no longer on the approved list.

Damn, there are currently a lot of correct answers. Might have to swing by there soon.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but I'd include Seattle's Stanley Cup (1917, but hey, it still counts), and also let's not leave out the women, where Kansas City won the 2014 soccer title, and Seattle has two WNBA titles. My count has Seattle ahead of KC 3-2 in men's sports, and 2-1 in women's sports.

(Despite my avatar, I'm a Seattle sports geek from birth, but did spend a bunch of years in Boston, watching Russell (#6), my all time favorite player.)

Well, if we're gonna count Seattle's Stanley Cup (which I'm on the fence about, as it predates the NHL, but that's a whole different OT discussion) then we have to count the 10 championships by the Kansas City Monarchs.

And, with zero apologies, kickball and the WNBA are not major sports, so do not count even a little bit.

The Cards have still won 11 World Series and played in 19.
But I'll still be rooting for the Mariners at least until the end of September.

Bottomcutter followed by unoaked midnight is right. I don't deal well with ambiguity.

Sorry if you misunderstood. I was talking about baseball in other cities.
