    Sounds legit. I am convinced:

Magic 'teabag' transforms bland lager into refined craft beer

The beer-bag works in the same way as fruit teas, but instead of infusing it in hot water the user drops it into a pint

A special 'teabag' has been designed to transform ordinary bland lager into a refined craft beer.

The beer-bag works in the same way as fruit teas, but instead of infusing it in hot water the user drops it into a pint.

The sachet, which contains a blend of hops, fruit peels and natural spices, is left for two minutes to transform the flavour without the cost or calories of a craft beer.

Each 5g sachet can transfuse up to four beers, so one bag could keep the drinker going for a session at the pub.

The first infusion will take between two and four minutes, but once the bag is wet any further uses will only take about 30 seconds to transfuse.

Hop Theory, the company behind the bags, sources premium natural ingredients with no processed additives or preservatives and everything is prepared in a way to improve the transfuse time.

/that was sarcasm by the way.

I mean, I'd at least be willing to give it a try. I wouldn't expect much of course.

I would actually try it too with low expectations. Actually I'm more curious to see how this would taste if used in a martini or just generally alongside gin, I think it may actually have more of an impact there than in a crappy beer.

I usually just drop a hop pellet in my can of Bud.

Unfortunately, they are only producing a very limited amount of the Heady Topper bags. Alchemist was worried if it was too common, it could potentially affect the rating of HT, so they decided to keep the bags super limited.

I too am skeptical, but even if it makes an AAL taste just a bit better, I'd be willing to have some "sachets" (silly Englishmen) on hand for emergency situations. Whenever I'm in the scenario of being in a social situation where BMC beers are the only option, I can grab a cup and dunk one of those babies in, making it heighten the experience a little more.

This is ridiculous. Just buy a craft beer?

They reference the price point of craft as expensive, but sell 12 sachets for $14.95?

It's entertaining watching some of the creative ways people try to capitalize on the craft beer craze.

Hopefully it works better than this: http://ontapbeer.com/
I bought some as a joke and discovered that it tastes like soy sauce and smells so strong that it stays in the air for days.

A couple local breweries offer that in this area. They have dry hop stations so you can add it to any of their growlers if you'd like.

ISO: bland lager teabags. You know, so my acquaintances can drop one in a craft beer to make it more drinkable for their delicate palates...

I wonder how much of a "bland lager" I can improve. If I can go from buying $12.99 6 packs to $3.99 Natty/Beast six packs, this could definitely lower the amount of money I blow on beer. Hey, if it's good for 4 beers, can I just take it, drop it in a 40 and be good to go?

They're dreadful. My liquor store was selling them for $0.50, so I had to at least try it. I think I'd probably rather have a butyric acid laden beer than one spiked with that stuff.
