A lot of customers that come to the beer store I work at are asking for beers with a pine taste to them. Any well known beers that fit that category?

    Thanks, Cheers

Although a seasonal, I find Hoptimum to hit that piney note.

Of course with IPAs, you find a lot of folks get really different things from the same IPA so good luck.

I find Sierra Nevada Torpedo to be exceptionally piney.

Stone IPA, even the new Ruination 2.0 to a certain extent.

Firestone Walker Union Jack (piney and citrusy)

Ballantine IPA is an evergreen bomb, if you can get that one.

Bally IPA would be my suggestion too. Not as piney or aromatic as it was 40-50 years ago, but still in the ballpark. If they could get rid of the slight citrus character of the current version and up the aroma somewhat, it would be great.

Alpine started distribution to NY recently and Hoppy Birthday was incredibly piney (and amazing). I think they may start distro to PA but not too sure.

In Pennsylvania you may be able to get Hardywood? If so the Hoplar is a DIPA with Popular. Definite pine.

I saw someone else say it but you can likely get ahold of SN Torpedo.

Looks like Hardywood is only Virginia/DC area still.

Most IPAs from west coast breweries will have a lot of pine flavor. East coast ones tend to be more citrus forward (my preference)

Sierra Nevada Torpedo, Lagunitas IPA, and Stone IPA are all quite piney and all have huge distros.
