I tried it. It was actually very good. The piney ness of heady with the fruity ness of SoS. Dlish.

There is a tavern where I live that has a mix of Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar and Mocha Porter that is dynamite.

Am I the only one who does this? But if I open a bomber and don't think its great, I will usually drink 10 oz and but the other 12 oz in a small bottle with cork. Save for tomorrow. Occasionally I get a few of these leftover in the fridge and decide to mix them. Some are terrible, some are quite good.

Today's success: I mixed 1/2 Speedway Stout from Alesmith with 1/2 James E Pepper 1776 Whiskey Barrel ALe.

Coffee, whiskey, vanilla , oak : yum. But now I have a full 750 ml of this mix to work through in the next two days. I'm up to that challege.

btw: Speedway is fine, just didn't want coffee late at night yesterday. 1776 is OK.

I've never done it sober but have definitely tried it after a few. Never to any success. 1+1 usually equals -1 in my experience.

I tried mixing a shot of Eagle Rare with Young's Double Chocolate Stout... Didn't exactly get the desired result.

BCBS & BCBCS go nicely together
#17 by itself is a bit too minty for me at times, so blend that with some blackhouse from Modern Times
Pliny and Heady make a pretty nice blend

Haven't tried it out yet but am going to mix some of a PB&J Framinghammer with a small amount of Rubaeus to try and get some more "jelly" flavor in there. The peanut butter taste was definitely there but the jelly flavor was lacking to me.

One half Bud or Bud Light + one half Clamato juice...stir don't shake. The sum is greater than the parts.
Different beers, like different motor oils shouldn't be mixed together.

I've heard that peanut butter, Sriracha, and chocolate go well together, so I decided to do a little beer blending. I am pleased with the result. I call it a "Kung Pao Beaver." And my high school guidance counselor said that I wouldn't amount to anything...
