I had a few yuengling black & tans over the weekend for the first time in years, & I thought "what would be some good choices to mix your own craft beer black & tan..." Any suggestions?

Evil Twin's Yin and Yang. I mean, they sell a pre-mixed version, too, but it's fun to do it yourself

Oh and buy one of those Black and Tan turtles too they look cool, it's a great ice breaker and it works as good as a Black and Tan spoon.

Oh, it definitely is- neither beer gets overwhelmed by the other.

Haven't made one in while but, Young's Double Chocolate Stout poured over Well's Banana Bread is pretty delicious.

At $10 a bottle for 120 and WWS I wouldn't make it often, but it sure is good. Perhaps even better than either of the beers individually (and I happen to like both on their own).

In New England - Berkshire Shabadoo Black & Tan, mix of their Draymans Porter & Berkshire Pale (good beers on their own)

Michael. have you tried this mix using the Fastenbier?

What ratios do you use? I am guessing 60% Schlenkerla and 40% BCS?

    Cheers!

Isn't Black & Tan suppose to be Lager + Foreign/Export Stout?
