My brother in law is having a baby and will be revealing the gender at a bbq get together. I'm wanting to get him 2 different beers, one that seems feminine and one that seems masculine. That way we can crack the one that his kid is going to be! Anyone got any suggestions on beers that basically stereotype women and men?

Anything fruity for a girl preferably a raspberry beer so it's pink.
For a boy go with a big imperial stout.

If you can find a home brewer you could add dye and recap.

Or, just say screw it and try to track down a bottle of Jack's Abby's Baby Maker that someone is willing to trade...

Nope. Any such characterization is problematic.

Find something that is suitable to celebrate. I suggest a fine Belgian that has champagne-like qualities.

For the masculine beer, anything that he likes/you like/wishes he could try.

For a feminine beer, get him some Bud or Coors light.

I like the idea of figuring out how to get a capped pink or blue beer. Your way seems like over thinking a little. In any case congratulations to the family.

This is not practical, but for a boy, COAST - BoyKing or MagicHat - Circus Boy...For a girl, St Pauli Girl or Right Brain - Naughty Girl Stout.

Now in my store the most common beer that women buy/like for themselves are Shandy's, Fruit beers and HefeWeizens...although a lot are buying sours...Guys are all over the map, but a manly beer could be a Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout
