Just had a Harpoon Braggot Rights. A beer infused
with wildflower honey. 1st beer with honey that I
could actually taste the honey. Really good stuff.
1st beer with honey that I ever tried takes me
way back to Pete's Wicked Honey Wheat. Liked it
so much it was the 1st case of craft beer that I
    ever bought. Also good stuff.

    You?

Olde Hickory Event Horizon, Imperial stout and Foothills Olde Rabbit's Foot all have honey in them. When you swirl the glass and take a whiff, it smacks you in the face.

Most of the time you're not going to taste the honey in a beer because of how much of it actually ferments out. Whats nice about a Braggot is that it has a lot more honey in it for fermentables than beer with honey added. Braggots are pretty much beer/mead hybrids.

Only true braggot i've tried is from Two Brothers when they made Heliocentric. Lot's of beers use honey tho, like Hopslam and one of my recent favorite DIPA's Balling with the Queen from Tyranena.

Big Sky Summer Honey is decent. I tried a pint of Hyve from Uinta too, also "not bad".

Hopslam and the many Pipeworks DIPAs that use honey... Square grouper, sure bet, killer queen, Crimson snapper, spotted puffer. All are too notch.

Hopslam and Allagash Fluxus 2014. Love Hopslam. Fluxus was too sweet for my taste.

Not the biggest fan of honey in beers. I find that it tends to be overused in most cases, packing on the sweetness and ABV when it can instead be used as a subtle flavoring agent.

Apis Quad from Elevation Brewing was so good, Ken Schramm asked if he could find some in MI, to which I said no. That guy knows honey, and fermented beveredges made with honey, I must say.

Sam Adams Honey Queen is the only one I have tried. I really enjoyed it, and I am definitely interested in others.
