Feels like it should be "past Wednesday" by now.....ah well....what can you do?

Drink a beer, and admire your hops!

Another new one to me from Madtree in Cincy, picked up while in Columbus over this weekend...yum!





Cascade hops.....shitloads of cones, big and beautiful!!


Galena hops are up on my roof already.....2 year old bines....damn!

Good morning from Charleston, SC. This morning's beverage is slightly tart and a little funky:



Spicy, funky nose. Crisp tart fruit with a little funk. Check out the foam - and I was being careful!



Shirt is from the brewery tour last year. I must say, I like this far better than orange juice for breakfast. Another good day on the road. Cheers!

Thanks for the hops **** - I always feel better when I see them growing semi-locally. I've got a snapping turtle that needs a lake and I see you have a lake that needs another snapper. Interested?

Thanks........we have lots and lots of turtles on my lake already!! Have seen some snappers that are as big as a trash can lid...huge old guys!

 

Good morning BAs and Happy Hump Day! Starting today with another great local from @richj1970. To me, this is the best part of NBS BIF - getting to try local brews that I otherwise would probably never even hear about. I don't seek whales - local is my real interest. Mrs. Lizard and I are heading west after her PT today so I won't be hitting MI until tomorrow then all the beer buying breaks loose! Love MI beers!

 

Yeah - they grow fast with enough food and space. Lucky is about 4 years old, female, and expects humans to feed her. I called her Lucky because she was a hatchling sitting on the yellow lane divider when I drove by and snagged her. I don't want her to get run over trying to cross a road to find a place to lay eggs and too many people around here eat snappers for me to turn her loose here.
