...which is also almost a list of every beer I've given a 4+ rating to so far (there were three others that just barely didn't make it onto this "top 10" list.) Of course, I have had some really good beer that I haven't reviewed due to only having it once so far... I know I can think of three beers I haven't reviewed yet just off the top of my head that would end up in the "4.2 and above" range and thus end up bumping the last three off the "top 10" list if/when I review them (...assuming they were as good the second time as the first, anyway.)

Of course, since I've not even reviewed 50 beers yet (and at some point I will probably end up re-reviewing everything I had last year when I first started doing reviews, and maybe end up with different scores...) this list is subject to change. XD

 

I don't rate a lot of the beer I drink so here's several that might be on here otherwise (Enjoy By, Yeti, a few others maybe), but here goes nothing. Also - I rate beers on style and don't give extra points just because something is bourbon and maple syrup barrel aged with 7 slow roasted small batch artisan coffee types, vanilla beans, and a dozen Bavarian cream donuts stolen from the local policeman on the way in to brew that morning (minus the 3 said policeman ate while watching criminals perform heinous acts before pulling over someone going 36 in a 35 mph zone).

You think roughly one out of every 10 beers are "perfect"? That's being quite the easy grader.

 

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that im still new to craft so i do a lot of research to try the really highly rated beers and get them out of the way...if u notice a lot of my ratings are highly regarded beers...eventually ill run out and the ratio will be a lot more of the less hyped beers and the "5 ratio" will go down....it will definitey still be higher than most raters though...i just cant picture how my afforementioned beers could get any better what can i say!?
