I'm headed to Denver in a few weeks and looking for a few breweries to visit. What are some of the have to see and have to taste? I have been to a few of the bigger ones in the past, so I am mainly looking for local or regional breweries.

Whereabouts in Denver? Will you have transportation, or rely on walking/public transit (in other words, do you have limits on where you can get to)?

Dude. These threads are too much. Quick. Everyone pile on with the same suggestions as always.

Swing a dead cat, you'll hit something to check out.

NOTE: do not swing a dead cat. There are plenty of options in Denver. Beermapping.com is fairly reliable resource for locations. A good handful would be: Comrade, Hogshead, Station 26 and Strange -- but there are many others

Yeah, a dead cat may attract all the dogs that everybody seems to own here.

I've seen about four cats since moving to Denver, none of which were dead.

Be sure to hit Crooked Stave with the cat you bring.

I've got a cat, she's really chill. Do breweries allow cats?

Comrade is definitely a must for the Superpower! Side note, this cat humor has caused me to get up from my desk at work due to too much laughter. :grinning:

They probably allow them; if they're alive and not swung.

Millers/Cores is in a town called Goldings west of Denver and they have a beer they make there and then there is a Budweising plant in Fort Collings that makes a beer too you could check those out, as far as Denver goes I don't know if there is much beer but maybe you could try Old Chicago's or something.
While you are hear try Cassa Bonita's it is the best Mexican in town.
