That's not what I said! Why couldn't they have options to buy 1, 2 or 3 bottles?

I am working the release. Usually we put on cool beers throughout the day, as stuff kicks.

Cause it is a pain in the arse for us to try and get everything straight to hand out bottles. Also, last year I would say 95% of the people that showed up bought the full allotment.

What kind of business is that? And what's the difference if you have to give someone 1 or 6 bottles?:astonished:

Yeah I didn't think it was likely, but one can hope!

I like the idea of on site only Pappy and DB Chocolate, but I hope the prices aren't the prices that the 2013 or 2014 BA MC are currently on the bottle list. My hope would be if the entire yield was for on site consumption only the price inflation wouldn't be as much.

Any chance there will be an additional release...say towards the end of October, when I'll be down there?

Not really. If you look at the statistics, craft beer in general is not about the "average" person in America. You are paying for an above average experience and clearly would have complained about whatever method was put in place to secure bottles.

If you don't like a business, stop supporting it with you pocketbook.

Elsewise, stop complaining, because you are part of the problem.

I support them, but not when it's $30 a bottle. Especially when it's purely hype driven. You must have selective reading. Just to be clear, I was talking about dishing out $200, instead of having a choice to buy one, two or three bottles.

Part of what problem? I didn't get that memo!

How is craft beer no longer for average people? No one is making you buy $200 worth of beer that you are saying is hype-driven. You can easily pick up a sixer of a standard IPA for $9 and be happy with it.

Good to see them finally releasing it, folks seemed to be getting restless. Enjoy!

I love the smell of irony driven schadenfreude in the morning.

I think Westbrook did it right. This will be their smoothest release so far.

I'm kinda sad that the Coconut(kegged), Pappy, and DB are being held. I really wanted to see the comedy in the ISO:FT that those bottles would've cause.

@rmarley crying about the hype that he created to increase trade value.

    Priceless.
