So, I'm brewing my fourth batch this weekend, an Oatmeal Stout. My first batch was a Brown Ale that came out drinkable but definitely not great. My second batch (Amber) and my latest batch (IPA) came out pretty damn tasty if I don't say so myself. I can state for a fact that I would not be this far along without this forum. Therefore I (and my friends that are helping me consume) give this forum a tremendous thank you! Have a great weekend everyone! Tim

I agree, @drinkybanjo . Wish I'd had known about this site when I started brewing 6 or so years ago. Some very helpful people on here, and I am educated every time I read through some of these threads. There's always something new. I had no idea what I was doing on my first batch. It should have been dumped, but I managed to quaff it down
This forum has been a great resource for my adventures in homebrewing as well. Guys like @VikeMan And @JackHorzempa keep my feet on the ground sometimes and guys like @stealth and @OldSock Inspire me to keep pushing the boundaries past bjcp style guidelines and brewing norms. I mean an imperial ice distilled stout? FFS man... lol
