Had a Flyinh Dog- earl grey Dunkelweizen a while back and really enjoyed it. Are there any other beers out there that either have a tea addition or any malt of hop off flavors that are earthy and tea like? Ive heard Headwaters Pale Ale is a good choice for that?

Bonus points for earthy, tea like IPAs

Stone Green Tea IPA. would be gone by now though. Had a very strong green tea flavor.

I picked it up because I want to the collaboration brewery when I was in Japan, so I had to snag a bottle of it.

The only one I have had was Hill Farmstead's Works of Love (Earl Grey Tea) over the summer. Fantastic and super delicate at 3.6%. This was a blonde ale and I would love to try more low ABV examples.

Sam Adams Boston Lager has always tasted of tea to me, and there is no pun intended there.

Prism Brewing has a ParTea Pale Ale brewed with black tea leaves. I don't know if they distribute to NJ, but they aren't hard to find in the Philadelphia area and last I checked this was a standard offering on tap at their brewpub (in North Wales).

I get a tea flavor from a lot of milder pales & IPAs. Probably not going to help you much, but East End's Big Hop stands out in my memory as one that was very tea-like.

    This is true..

Along those lines, Rock Art's Jasmine Pale Ale has some tea-like characteristics and I'm pretty sure Rock Art distributes to NJ (they did a couple years ago at least). I think it's a seasonal release....the last review from 2013 here has me wondering if it's been discontinued though.

This. I had two or three draft pours but I wasn't crazy about it. Very easy drinking for 10% abv though.

Many English beers have a bit of a tea flavor...at least to me.

Stone's Japanese Green Tea IPA was phenomenal but is gone by now. But a great Tea brew I can always get in my area is Hop Freak from MKE brewing company. It's a DIPA brewed with Ishi tea. Very tasty DIPA with a nice lingering tea flavor on the finish.
