It doesn't look, smell or taste like Hefeweizen, but apparently that's what this is. Good beer though.

I can't sleep, it's cold, and the wind is howling. Maybe this will help...

    Can't hurt, right? Cheers!

Good morning BAs! On the road again - didn't get a chance to post yesterday's breakfast beer:

Could the bad taste be from the stylish hotel glass? Hope so, because someone on NBS BIF #3 is going to get to try this one. Anyway, last night we had dinner and a couple of brews at Victory (Downingtown) and I got another shaker to travel with (Along with today's breakfast beer).

Incidentally, I tried the Braumeister Pils Spalt Hallertau on tap last night and I must say it is the best pilsner I've ever had!

    Prost!

After another long night of work, ending my 'night' with a Bourbon BBA Mayan Mocha from Odd Side Ales. Such an awesome beer if you're into some heat in your stouts (pepper heat that is). Definitely need to try to find some more of this ASAP.

So this doesn't quite fit the beer and books pics people have been posting of late, but still, it does reference one of my all-time favorite books...IT by Stephen King. This is really the only book that creeped me out though in the interest of full disclosure I read it when I was a kid. Still, Pennywise is one of the great literary villains and along with the Stand this is King's best book. The beer itself, Pear Bear, is really good as well. I'm not huge into sours, but this one was delicious.
