For Threads WBAYDN for original stuff like booknotes and beers and all the original drinking days we have like drink with The Duvel day. Then the live tasting threads. A barleywine for everyday. Cheers I will think of lots more.

Not sure any thread this year combines the pure silliness, the sheer absurdity, the genuine "this is why we can't have nice things" anger and amusement that last year's beer flop house thread did.

But @TampaRainman's post single-handedly makes the otherwise short and relatively run-of-the-mill Ann thread. It's strong enough that I think it could carry it to victory all by itself.

Did We Ruin Bourbon County? was pretty fantastic as well. And for sheer "can't look away from the car crash" entertainment value, the two annoying beer customer/employee threads were a solid read for several days.

I was a big fan of the Jever thread. It was really interesting. It got really funny at the end too, everyone started making puns, then the thread died. Cheers to everyone involved, i learned a lot and had some laughs.

Edit: I like puns.

 

I've been looking forward to this since the Best of 2014 Thread died out. @TampaRainman has got my vote from the Ann thread.

 

You guys make me blush. If my post wins, do I get a bottle of Ann? Happy to supply address info via BM.

Reading my post back makes me giggle. A few things of note:

1. Someone who is new to this site and reads the part about there being comments to the FT:ISO offers will be really confused. Perhaps another memorial service is warranted for the all-timer: "Great offer, bro! This should get done in a second."

2. I am evidently a prophet, as I predicted the re-release of Juicy (however, it appears Juicy--a lowly 4pp non-lottery offering--has not burdened its owners with the same level of torment). Where the fuck was my prescience when I was filling out my Powerball ticket the other day??!

3. I am actually curious. Hey @jweave16 , what did you do with that third bottle of Ann anyway?
