    Well Hello NBS (Late Night)
While I haven't caught up on the reading, what I have read has been enlightening. I've been taking my girls out to ride their new bikes from Santa everyday...sometimes 2 or 3 times in a day!!! So good to see an "old school" gift be sooo appreciated. While I've had a few good ones today, Black Tuesday Reserve, and Mocha Wednesday 2015...I'm going to share Port Barrel Aged Sucre by the Bruery. (Before I forget to name the new beer, like last week:grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::flushed::flushed::flushed:)

    Sucre Port Barrel Aged

Deep amber that puts up a good fight against the light trying to peer through it. Tan fluffy head rises to 3 fingers with a vigorous pour.
Smell is burnt brown sugar, brandy, vinuous notes, dark fruit, slightly sweet in a date like way.
Taste is sweet from the base beer but it’s not merely simple sweet. It’s more of a slightly caramel sweet that instantly goes into Brandy, raisin, red wine barrel notes, and fig.
Finish is slightly tannic and dry with red wine notes coating my tongue.
    Mouthfeel is medium to full.
Overall, this is a good drink. I think the Port barrel aging definitely helped this one be much more than a one-dimensional sweet tooth binge.
