Tickets for the Peg's event were not for sale online. You had to purchase them in person 8 days prior and you could buy two but had to provide full names of the attendees at the time of purchase. Tickets were $75 included the Friday bottle, souvenir glass, and open pours of all beers at Peg's.

Peg's is closed. Just providing info for those wondering what happened last year. I'm sure this year will be very different. Thanks @TBBAGBIF for clarifying the lack of online tickets.

Thanks for the info. And oh, of course, but we're just trying to ballpark this and get a sense of what they're up to. Based on all this information and hypothesizing, my best guess would be that they are fermenting a total of 240 BBL of Huna in two 120 BBL tanks and are releasing about 3/4 of that (180 BBL) in the form of about 28,000 750 mL bottles on Hunahpu's Day 2016, leaving the remaining 1/4 of the batch (60 BBL) for kegging and reserve.

Do you know when Peg's/Cycle announced this last year?

This is actually a great price for an event of this size. FB MBCP day its $15 for the fest you have to pay $6 per pour and pay for food. Say over the period you have 10 pours $60 and you eat once $10 (food trucks jack up the price at these events)
You are at $85 . Huna Day is $100 for the fest includes UNLIMITED pours and 4 food tickets from the food trucks in attendance. I think this is a much better deal to try beer from 160 breweries...... I know last year I had far more than 10 pours during the day.

No more Pegs. Just Cycle brewing on Central in St. Petersburg. That's it. One place.

Also of note, a lot has changed in a year for Cycle and their releases as they grow. I wouldn't expect much of an announcement at ALL this year unless there is an event with tickets for sale. Just have the car gassed up and a wad of cash on hand!

Back to the issue of lining up: I'm hoping they'll do a "Gates at 10:00, Beer pours at 11:00" type of thing again. They have done that sort of thing in years past, and it's been pretty helpful for moving the crowd in a little faster than trying to have everyone do a mad dash right at 11:00.

I will definitely head straight there on Friday after my flight gets in at 2:00. How big is the brewery? Seems like there will be a lot of people that want to go there.

Cycle? It's pretty freakin small. But it's a must go to.

I'll definitely check it out - hopefully it isn't too crowded on that Friday.

"Packed" is an understatement. It's gonna be like trying to get 10 pounds of shit in a five-pound bag ...
