I doubt the most lively bar in Astoria is one that's pegged as a craft beer bar.
It's certainly not a food/beer store with taps and a counter... or Crescent and Vine.

I've never been to Astoria Craft Bar & Kitchen, but none of the other places you've listed I'd describe as lively.

Mosaic and Crescent & Vine are dimly lit, low-key spots. Mosaic will have more of a beer selection (big bottle list) but you'll be more likely to find rare or unusual stuff on tap at Crescent & Vine.

Astoria Bier and Cheese is a meat/cheese and bottle shop with a counter bar and some tables to sit at after you order food at the bar. I will say they have amazing sandwiches, especially the Show Stopper or the Mexican Torta at the Broadway location. It can get a bit crowded during peak times but it's not really a lively bar atmosphere.

With that said I'm a big fan of those places, particularly Crescent & Vine, to head on a weeknight for a few beers and chat with locals.

I like Max Bratwurst and Bier - but I like German beer as well as American craft. I go there when I need to have a proper Kolsch beer - which is often.

And yes none of those places are "lively". The 2 AB&C locations do get crowded and their growler and draft prices can be inconsistent and overpriced but I like the concept and food.

I have to admit, this profile fascinates me. I can't understand threads like this and Which of these three is the most lively Park Slope bar?

So far it seems like the main point of this account is to get traffic for their "raffles" which they never come out and admit they are the ones running (here and here), but there's got to be some sort of content harvesting or data mining purpose to these inane posts that i don't understand.
