    We've moved from the in-laws to my sister and brother-in-law's place in Bradenton. Fog and rain yesterday, and more for this morning, at least. Oh well, at least it's warmer than Maine! We'll also be seeing our daughter today.
    On the way to Bradenton stopped at an ABC store and picked up some provisions. I'm drinking Brooklyn's Silver Anniversary, a nice doppelbock.

    THEY ACCEPTED OUR OFFER ON THE HOUSE!!:grinning::grinning:. Went into an all out bidding war and the house was only on the market 2 days. Unfortunately, the easy part is over - now I have to figure out how to pay for the damn thing.

    Finally made it back :slight_smile: Hows it going BA's? hope everyone's doing well! As of tomorrow I am officially on A gov paid vacation (temp layoff) and it acually feels good to finally get there. Been a hectic week and I haven't had a beer since sunday. Now I'm sitting down with a Beautiful Pinot Noir aged Derniere Volonte by DDC, This is a spectacular belgo-ipa aged for 11 months in pinot noir barrels. Cheers!

    The big rain front covering south Florida has made its way north finally, so stormy all morning here...good day to stay inside and drink beer!

    Dragon's Milk Reserve, Triple Mashed Stout, from New Holland Brewing, 14% and bourbon barrel aged, bottled 10/7/15. I'm not a whiskey/bourbon drinker so I bring that perspective to the tasting party...wow, this is good. Caramel malt roast, chocolate, with black licorice and vanilla, with gentle bourbon nose and flavor beginning to end. Smooth, velvety tongue coating. Warming, but I find no alcohol flavor - dangerous and oh so smooth and drinkable. If I had the time to enter my tasting notes into the review process, my score would fall just under 4.75. World Class!

    Drink big, drink well BAs!

    Drank this last Friday and thought this was tasty too...lots of rain predicted for today, so be careful if driving :-)
