Roundabout news! Newest rendition of Hy-PA will be coming on next week and Steve said it was his favorite yet. Also a new Red IPA dry hopped with a "shitload" or Amarillo. They also brewed their highest ABV beer to date a few weeks ago - an imperial porter with most destined for bourbon barrels.

Oh and the Irish Coffee Stout on nitro was so delicious.

I had a blackbeard on cask up there last weekend and it was awesome. Much better than the bottle I had.

Unless you have some Piitsburgh beer news to drop on us, please refrain for your childish, whining posts.

I would disagree with this completely. Just because UPS or Fedex say it's delivered doesn't mean that it was delivered to the right address. This has happened to myself and others who have sent beer to me as well.

You got me with these 2..

Looks like I'll be lunching at the Church that week.. I haven't eaten there in years!

And it figures the other is on the other side of the freaking world from me.. based on our last discussion of you can't get there from here, I need to stock up on oxen...

A white stout? What flavor profile would that have?

Likely will taste like a stout, just blonde in color. Stone has done it as well as several other breweries.

I thought it would be dark like a stout, but with a Belgian wit yeast.

I've been bugging him to re-brew the Hy-PA with Amarillo since he brewed it the last time. Was probably my favorite beer from them.

I am a part of the White Stout collab, it'll be blond in color but have coffee and cacao nibs added to impart the same flavor profile of a stout.

Im really enjoying the lighter malt profiled coffee beers coming out....some examples like spoonwood cold drip, sixpoint cream.....i could see these being a flagship style in the near future.....i really dig coffee forward nose and the lighter the malt profile the better!

The flavor of the week from Bottle Logic. Same maker as Fundamental Observation that has been all the rage on the ISO:FT forum for months and months.
