Just saw on FB that Funk (Emmaus, PA) released cans of Double Citrus DIPA at the brewery today. $15 for a 4 pack of 16oz cans, $70 for a case. I've had this beer on tap before, pretty good. At the case price, I'd say its an okay value. http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/34006/158659/
I dont believe so. From their FB page looks they got slightly over 150 cases out of their canning efforts yesterday. As of an hour ago, there are 24 cases left.
Damn--doubtful this lasts the rest of the day let alone until I could get up there on Saturday. Stupid dinner with the mother in law* *this is a great way to find out if my wife is checking my BA posts.
If you feel like getting gouged it looks like Cork & Cage in Allentown is selling cans for $6 (ouch!) Disappointed Funk jumped on this can release hype train instead of local distro, but can't blame them and this release will just confirm their decision.
Sounds tasty, but sold out now. I think I read it will be on tap tomorrow. Their regular Citrus IPA absolutely destroys Grapefruit Sculpin.
Shangy's had a Double Citrus release yesterday. I believe they are sold out. Not sure if there will be another can release at the brewery or not.
From their FB page yesterday: "After taking care of all of our accounts we have 180 4 packs of Double Citrus left. Today at Noon." So sounds like most of it got sent out into distribution.
Picked it up today in point pleasant. Happy to see it out this way and a really nice beer. I've had regular citrus in the fridge constantly so this was a nice bonus.
Got a four pack today in my area. Really good. Haven't had Hopslam in a few years but it reminded me of that.
Picked this up a few days ago, and was excited to do so. Really love regular Citrus, and Double Citrus didn't disappoint either.
