To be honest, it's my least favorite beer I've ever had. Now, it was my first smoked beer, and I also expected something somewhat like Beer Geek Breakfast, but I thought it was horrible and quite bizzare. I'd like to revisit it, but the memory is still stained so bad that I'm not sure I could put it to my lips.

 

You need some squid ink beer, or maybe something with whale testicles.

I thought that was a nice beer.

My most recent bizarre tasting beer was Shmaltz Circum Session Ale (yes, you read that right). Released around April Fool's Day. It was a "Barrel Aged Tart Pomegranate Wit." It tasted the way toe jam smells. It was very odd at the first sip. I actually liked it. I'd call it bizarre but not horrible... but I could see others calling it horrible. It's keg only so you'd have to get a growler. Curious souls should look it up just to see the tap handle art.

 

Taj Mahal (UB - India). Don't worry too much if it happens to be out of date or sits in the sun a little bit before you serve it... worst beer I've ever tasted.

 

Wells Banana Bread Beer. I know it gets some love, but man that was the worst beer I've ever had. Liquid Banana Laffy Taffy

 

- Super Brew 15 - notoriously horrific Romanian barleywine-like liquid
- Wiseacre Unicornucopia (2015) - blue cheese as beer, and it's even worse than that sounds

 

Dogfish Head Higher Math. I can still remember the wretched flavor of that, people will be disgusted for sure.

Choc Lobster from Dogfish Head. Try to imagine what your socks would taste like if you aged them on dead lobster and malt-o-meal - that's Choc Lobster.

They're still left over from way back in the day. My dad still has a few cans. One day I'm going to work up enough courage and stupidity to crack one open.
