Busy, eventful weekend - got 2 cats (# 4+5 of the total of 6) adopted, and I adopted a different kind of cat - a Hobie 14 Catamaran!

Got this cool new SP Crisp glass recently from their website, when ordering the new Puff glass...I dig it



Paddling Sunday afternoon, before thunderstorms rolled through....



and, there was beer of course - a dude has to stay hydrated!

Good morning BAs! It's starting off to be a sunny day here along the Allegheny in NW PA - already had a cardinal squawking outside in one of my trees, probably one of the two spruce scheduled for removal. Mrs. Lizard made it back from her quilting thing with little loot which always makes me suspicious - she probably bought another machine which will soon be delivered. Today's breakfast beer is something lighter than normal:



Decent, a little malty and a little higher ABV than I like in a farmhouse ale, but still decent. Better than my database states that it was in 2009. Oddly enough, I actually remember buying it in 2009 from a now defunct beer store outside of PGH (last I knew, it had become a bar).

Feels like a roadtrip to Lancaster!

Good morning, all! What are YOU having for breakfast?


The power of.suggestion wasn't enough in itself to make this taste like a PopTart (for which I am very much grateful). Nevertheless, this is one fine breakfast beer.

Prost!

 

Oskar Blues Dales Pale Ale



Aroma: Pine, citrus, straight forward hops in a good way.

Taste: Hop forward covering a solid malt frame. Lingering hops with malt coming into it's own in the middle and finish which is clean crisp with just a touch of hops remaining. Refreshingly solid malt presence.

Texture: Medium to full malt. This Ale has weight.

Overall: Good balance making for a good drinking experience. This Ale boldly enters the room without shouting.

 

And then Torch Pilsner.



Think I see a nap in my future for the next flight.
