    Late yesterday afternoon, I swung by Lanikai Brewing to try their newest release, Da Haole. It's a Belgian Strong brewed with local Lilikoi (passion fruit). A solid summer beer (year round here), funky and tart, with that Belgiany candied malt character.

    I hope everyone enjoyed their Friday, now lets get moving on making this Saturday even better BA's! I'm all out of clever little things to say right now, so I'll just get too it. You know what time it is. It's Glass of the Day Award time!

    GotD: Living dangerously after a crafting-gone-wrong incident, I gotta give it out to @KarmicSkrambl8 . He broke a bottle trying to cut it, but damned if that's gonna stop him from enjoying it, even if that means a few extra "floaties":confused:. The LNBA tried to strong arm me into this GotD, but they didn't even need to. This was a shoe-in. Good form. Cheers and congrats!
    2nd: @Beersnake1 for an awesome Black Tuesday glass. Never seen one quite like it. You are all in for a treat with this 2-fer pic. The Firestone glass is no slouch either.
    3rd: @TooGood for busting out one of my favorite styles of glassware, the Thistle, which many I believe are not familiar with. Perfect pairing of course! (Take note people: Thistles Win!!! They are 2 for 2 so far!:wink:)
    Honorable mention: This doesn't happen too often, but out to @KarmicSkrambl8 again!:grimacing:, for his in-law gifted mug with that ridiculously rad handle. Cheers everyone, and I will see you all soon!

    I know nothing of the beer, but thanks for the tune. He was once a part of Junior Wells band. It sure brought back memories of the Checkerboard Lounge in Chicago and the once vibrant blues scene. Cheers!:slight_smile:
