I agree the first part. Harvest Saison was a surprisingly good beer, and I was hoping to see it again.

Boston lager is a great beer, not everything you drink has to be a "haze-bomb" or 100 IBUs, or aged in whatever barrel. Sometimes it's nice to just drink a beer.

Had my first Octoberfest last nite...just what you would expect from SA-a little too sweet for me but some of the others sound great! It's 100 degrees here and this all seems early to me;may their summer paks bombed and they need to make up for it....

While this is true, you can get Boston Lager ANYWHERE, at any time of the year. Why take up space in the variety pack with it?

I'll have to pick one of these up soon before they're all gone and stash in in my cellar for about 6 weeks or so that when its actually fall and I'm actually in the mood to drink these styles I'll have some readily available.

Yes but you can buy it anywhere 24/7/365. Don't waste space in a variety pack. I know they do it so people that aren't into different beer styles will buy the pack because BL is in it. But it gets old.

I usually get their fall and winter packs, along with some Oktoberfest. I'm looking forward to it!

I have not seen this pack around anywhere in my area yet. Sam Adams Oktoberfest is one of my favorite O-fests I look forward to every fall. The other beers sound quite interesting, though some are saying they are not that good, I'll probably give them a go anyway.

Shoot, I hope the Hoppy Red isn't faded by the time I'm actually in the mood to buy this pack...

How can they not know that Hoppy Red sucks? Well, drink it straight from the bottle to control the stench. Oy.

I love getting Boston Lager in the variety packs. It's a great, balanced old-fashioned lager, and SA variety packs are the only times that I get it.

Out of the bottle, right? Yep, it's good from the bottle. Just don't decant it, or . . . Boom! Chopped ragweed mixed with asparagus.

Just got a 12 pack at total wine in West Hartford. Excited to try these beers and revisit a classic Boston lager.

That was easily the best one in there IMO.

A bit skeptical for myself because too sweet is a real possibility for me but, their Chocolate bock last winter was real good albeit a bit ovaltine-ish, chalky, but im not completely put of by beers such as that.
