My source is me tasting the beers from the barrels.

I can't speak to the ratio of what barrels there are more of but there are many brands of bourbon barrels at the facility.

There are a lot of woodford barrels there. Possibly more now, it's been awhile and Brad is always expanding the barrel program.

 

It is a lot of woodford, but I try to diversify my program when possible. I have close to 300 clean/bourbon barrels and over 400 sour... lots of different barrels.

Or is this constant pandering a sick joke? Since the release 2 weeks ago, we have sold 150 cases, we have 100 left. Hope that helps everyone.

 

We need a sticky at the top of the page saying check the website for availability and read back a page or so for bottle counts. Also no way of knowing how long it'll last, I think bb coffee oil sold out the quickest of the 375s at about two weeks. People should also know not to try and get someone to mule you some beer on beer advocate. It's all common sense stuff though.

I bought Wood Burner and another Jackie O's beer from a Lizardville around Cleveland this summer -- I thought I'd share what everyone already probably knew, and that's that Wood Burner is a mind-blowing son of a bitch of a beer.

My last two bottles of BB Vanilla Coffee Dark Apparition were infected. No trolling, just fact. This happens. Not looking for my money back, just providing additional information.

Been drinking mine up. Four in the last few weeks and they were all fine -- delicious in fact. Traded one and he scored it a 4.5 on Untapp'd. I threw it in as an extra and warned him.
Mine is stored in the dark at about 50 degrees F.

 

Just cracked my one and only BB Vanilla & Coffee Dark App and thankfully it was fine! I was worried, but have had it in my mini-fridge around 50°F since I got it. Huge bourbon presence still and coffee faded, but another badass beer from Jackie O's!!

 

Quick question for you guys. Anyone know what the blend for Spirit Beast was? Just curious what beers were used is all since there's not much info on it. Thanks!
