Just bottled the two batches I brewed 11 and 12 days ago - hoppy pale and a saison. Taste is promising

Nice pics! I want to map out the 12 days. (I'm new to kegging and wait 12 days just for the beer to carb!) Brew day = 1 day. Fermentation 7-10 days. No dry hops? Then force carb 1 day + 1 day rest then serve?

Took a stab at a Space Dust DIPA clone today...despite the fact that Elysian is owned by AB InBev nowadays, I still love this excellent DIPA when I can get my hands on it! About to keg a Wheat IPA with Chinook, Citra and Equinox and plan on brewing the annual Pumpkin beer (a Rye Pumpkin Pie beer) tomorrow morning before I go up to Asheville, hit some breweries and then see Widespread (MF) Panic :grinning::grinning::grinning:

Well my IPA came out a little light. Not sure why. Still trying to figure it out but it is still pretty good. Whoo. At least it is still pretty good. Just came out as a session beer lol

From infomercial fame to semi functional another chapter in the corona mill saga.

I had drilled and epoxied a bolt in the worm. I had a hard time finding a driver for the 1/2 inch head of the bolt but I found one. Used it once and swore I just dropped it in the mill so I would not lose it but I lost it.

Went looking for another driver and could only find 7/8ths. I had to grind down the head of the bolt.

Then I hammered the driver on, it will not get lost again.

Now to use some JB weld putty to fix my sump pump that runs the last leg of immersion chiller.
Hopefully will have more to add tomorrow when I brew.

    Sump pump broken.

Sump pump hopefully fixed. It still runs freely. Putty needs 20 min setup and full strength in 24 hours.

[IMG]First brewday at the new house that I moved into 4 months ago. Renovations and a newborn definitely eat some time out of one's hobbies.

Second pickings from this year's harvest. I guess it's not too bad considering I didn't tend to them much at all this year - let them grow crazy on some lattice work leaning against my shed. 3rd year cascade and centennial, and first year bines of Columbus.

Will dry them and use them at flameout in a stout soon.

I picked my hops today too. I got 1.1kg wet hops from my single first year hallertau mittelfruh plant, which was more than I was expecting. They smell terrific and are now drying

Today was brew day for my Winter Ale. Well my first of many. Made some adjustments to the formula for a darker color and have to say it smelled great before and after brewing. Next week is spice week for it, and bottling my Strong Ale. And maybe another brew day as I have a 3 day weekend

Pretty much. For me it was about 9 days to finish primary, 1 day to cold crash, racked into keg with dry hops and force carbed with day of rest. Now it can sit and let all those extra hops mellow a little bit, its just damn tasty.

Today I'm bottling my Xmas Ale. It's basically a dubbel with some spices added.

I'm also topping up some sours I have going for further aging.

Made a 3,800 mL starter of 1318 for a Barley Wine that I will be brewing this weekend with a friend. Doing a 10 gallon batch with two different London Ale yeasts. Making a Pumpkin Ale from the second runnings and I am going to use Butternut Squash this time instead of real pumpkin. It's going to be a long Saturday, going to be cranking out 20 gallons on the good ol' electrical system!!

My keg pipeline is full for the next two months or so, but have my next two beers planned out and a third at least in concept...

Will brew a Schwarzbier next that can lager a few weeks/months until there is space, but then will be brewing a Comet/Galaxy DIPA with Conan yeast, a recipe I put together today. Really excited for that after having a comet heavy IPA recently, the hop flavor was stunning.

Following those, thinking about doing a dry hopped Pilsner using Hallertau Mittelfrueh hops. Mmmmmm!

Just kegged my 2nd saison, which i got the recipe from JohnSnowNW. First time having 3 beers on tap. 1) blonde 2) saison with danstar yeast, Nelson and mosaic hops 3) saison with wyeast 3711, Nelson and huell melon. Yeah, pretty much all summer time beers.

Kinda a ghetto system but I've pieced my system together with hand me downs and Craigslist. The good thing is my capital investments is minimal.
