    I present the Corona mill. This is an excellent piece of equipment to burn off all (some?) of those empty calories consumed during your homebrew enjoyment.

    It just took me about 1.5 hours to grind 24# of grain with the crank. I did have a bolt in there for the drill at one point but it broke and I had to revert to the crank.

    Unfortunately this grinding issue is the hurdle that I usually cant get over to brew. Case in point? I had the receipt from the LHBS still in the bag of grain. I bought this stuff 11/13/2015.

    Time for a new mill I think.

    Anyway, back to the informercial.

    I use my KitchenAid stand mixer. It works, but it takes forever!!!

    When I first started brewing all-grain, I used to always use a Corona mill to grind the grain. I would do it the night before, since it took a long time and would take up too much time during brew day. I still have it somewhere.

    Back is fine. Picked up paint strainers yesterday. Brewing today!

    Or, you could up your game and find a way to hook it up to a stationary bike!

    Man I have thought of that so many times!:grimacing:
    My neighbor works in a machine shop. Maybe I can get him to weld a sprocket on there.
