I've yet to have a bad FW Anniversary beer, so am pumped to (hopefully) get some of this.

My first post here but long time craft beer drinker. This is one I'm really excited about as the last few releases have been amazing! Can't wait to do a 16-20 share.

I went to last year's as well. It was my first FSW event. I was very pleased. Bravo 30 was my favorite of the day!

I think it's totally worth it, provided it has a good amount of parabola in it!

Looks like you can only get at their facility? That sucks, would have loved to try it.

Why do you think that? These typically see distribution, so I don't see why this year would be any different.

If they release it 10/29 at their locations, I'd say it'll be more late November to early December, based on how their other barrel aged beers seem to be distributed. Regardless, there is no reason (that I know of) that it won't make it to our markets. Finding a bottle at your local shop is a whole different matter, though!

I know they posted on Twitter about the process of it, and which winery won the blending, but not sure if they said what the components & percentages were.

Right now you can only get at their facility, figuring by the time they head out and by time I may come across some odds are not in my favor is all. I will be looking just if local you can snag on spot is all. But I guess that is what makes it fun, the thrill of the hunt.

I think this is consistent with how they've done it in the past, though....right? So my point was that this year's doesn't seem to be any different than other years.

They do this with all their BBA beers (minus the party they have for the anniversary beer) - they release it at their locations first, and then it hits distribution.

Looking forward to this as I do with all the FW box beers. Simply some of the best barrel aged beers around.

not to be overly snarky or confrontational, but what would be a "bad" blend?

Velvet Merkin should be the next to drop shouldn't it? I haven't seen any release info though other than the range on FW website.
