    Good morning all!

Another storm is to the east of us which we will be watching today. And best wishes to Florida as Matthew approaches. Cheers!

In one Jack mug is coffee, in the other is "coffee".

The best thing about Ash vs Evil Dead's premiere for me was the preview for American Gods (an awesome novel by the way), including this song.

Bonus trivia: the movie Halloween was originally called The Babysitter Murders. Think they came up with a better title.

Good luck with the storms. Are you in the islands drinking that?

Thanks. Yes, we're still in Barbados and this is 1 of 3 island brewed stouts available. I've got about a half dozen or so various island lagers, and 3 or 4 imports (Kingfisher, Heineken, Newcastle Brown), and a couple of shandys and low ABV malt beverages to drink. Beautiful and peaceful here, but not a " Beercation". Cheers!

Enjoy and be safe. It might not be a beercation, but Dragons Stout in the islands is a special thing. Enjoy!

Fulton Beer's new "Standard Lager" in a flute branded for the famous 'Sparkling Stite', originally brewed not far from Fulton's new production facility in northeast Minneapolis.

Prepping for a long weekend of beer-yness at the Guzzle and Twirl beer can show.

A few years back rumor had it that Dragon Stout would be making its way back to the general U.S. market after going away in the mid (1995?) 1990s. I followed this up with emails to Desnoes & Geddes and their various importers, and while they were characteristically professional and polite in answering my inquiry, no dice . . . I'm still waiting to try this one again with my grown-up (and professionally trained!), mature adult palate. :grinning:

This is the IPA that won 2016 Argentina's Cup Gold Medal (it was last month)...I did wrong not trying much of the local offerings and choosing expensive imports instead. Last month I tried Stone IPA (Berlin can) for the first time, and found it amazingly rich in passion fruit, piny and grapefruit aromas and taste. I loved it. Well, this Itzel Session IPA is like Stone IPA on steroids...the same profile but boosted like crazy...ultra hoppy but in a good way...can't believe we've got such a quality brew here. Of course, there are no more bottles around...all sold out despite the price (8usd each)...although I got myself a 12 pack for 4,50usd each.

    Great great beer.[IMG]
