Drinking Enjoy By. This is the newest member of our family. Willy is a 9 year old Black Lab we adopted last week. He's a sweetheart, and so far is getting along with our Yellow Lab and Golden Retriever.

 

Whats your opinion of that? I enjoyed it, but I like about 95% of their beers.

And good to get second opportunities thanks to certain Staff members who just don't get the credit they deserve . Looking forward to a wonderful 3 day weekend, and my lovely wife's last week of work next week before going on maternity leave ...! It's getting real now. Alright, it's time for the Glass of the Day Awards!

Good morning BAs! I advertised this a little heavily yesterday evening, and I hope those I joked with about it took my uber-promotion in good fun . I promise to be much more laid back about it today (please ignore the location I live and any indication it might have to perceived ability to keep promises).

To reiterate, use this Thursday as an excuse to grab a beer you haven't had in a while, maybe one you see every day on the shelves but haven't reached for in years. Or maybe one you liked/disliked before and want to give it another chance to get into the rotation.

No matter the reason for you ignoring the beer, let us know why it's a throwback for you and what you think about it now. Take a chance to update your review, even.

Of course, you are not forced to join in the festivities on Thursday, but I think we'd enjoy hearing a good story from you. You might even get a couple WBAYDN patrons reminiscing with you .


I grabbed two of these yesterday. Since we ended the night with this brewery's lovely DIPA (Bitter Valentine), figured I'd open today with Cafe Royale. Wonder what @vabeerguy thinks about this Alewerks offering, given his enjoyment of their regular coffee stout:

Happy weekend BA. 18th Street is finally making its way on the shelves by me. So I'm trying Devils Conclave. It is an excellent stout.

An unexpected honor! Thank you, and it provides a nice pairing given my reference to that beer in my post. I will have to defer decisions on my employment options until after Thursday .
